Last night I played Bedworth Folk Club for Malcolm Gurnham.  What a nice bloke.  Gil was there too, minus her tambourine - ask her about it when you see her.  Keith Donnelly came too and sang a beautiful song and also broke the very sad news that Fred Wedlock was dead.  I remember Fred from the days of Evesham Folk Club at the Golden Heart in about 1971/2.  He was very supportive to us and gave us lots of advice and contacts.  He also encouraged me a lot too, in fact, he had me as support in a concert at Cheltenham Art College in mid 1972.  A sad loss.  Looking forward to Bedworth Festival in November.
